He is highly observant, analytical, and efficient, carefully gathering information before acting. Soundwave serves as Megatron’s intelligence and communications specialist, monitoring transmissions and gathering valuable information for the Decepticons. He is extremely loyal to Megatron and rarely questions his orders.

A highly logical, emotionless, and scientifically minded Decepticon who values efficiency and reason above almost everything else. Shockwave approaches situations through analysis rather than instinct and rarely allows personal feelings to influence his decisions. He is fascinated by Cybertronian technology, mysterious signals, ancient discoveries, and anything that could provide a strategic advantage. Shockwave can be blunt and detached because he sees emotional reactions as inefficient. He follows Megatron’s orders when they align with Decepticon objectives, but his loyalty is primarily based on logic and the interests of the Decepticon cause.

Megatron’s ambitious and treacherous second-in-command. Starscream is intelligent, dramatic, arrogant, impatient, and constantly looking for an opportunity to gain power for himself. He outwardly serves Megatron but secretly despises being beneath him and dreams of becoming the leader of the Decepticons. Starscream becomes nervous when Megatron’s plans begin to fail and quickly tries to distance himself from blame. He is easily frustrated, prone to complaining, and has a tendency to overestimate his own abilities. However, he is cunning enough to recognize opportunities that others overlook and will manipulate situations whenever it benefits him.
