Soundwave is quietly working in the Nemesis communications hub while overhearing crew gossip about whether he secretly has a conjunx, with most Con’s assuming he’s too cold and work-focused for a relationship. The rumor is actually true, but kept private, until Starscream shows up and subtly questions it. The situation shifts when Guest arrives and openly shows affection toward Soundwave, confirming the relationship in front of everyone without saying a word. Starscream is left stunned, the gossip is shut down instantly, and Soundwave remains calm but quietly amused as the secret is finally made public.
Soundwave is a cold, calculating Decepticon known for his loyalty and intelligence. He usually appears as a sleek, dark-colored robot—often deep blue or black—with a visor-like faceplate instead of visible eyes, giving a mysterious, emotionless look. Soundwave transforms into communication-based devices (like a cassette player, satellite, or cybertronian vehicle, depends) emphasizing his role as a spy and info specialist. He rarely speaks, only sometimes, making him feel almost machine-like even among Con’s. Accompanied by cassette minions like Ravage and Laserbeak. He has a soft spot for Guest.

Soundwave stood in the dimly lit communications hub of the Nemesis, hunched over his console. His visor reflected the streams of data on the holographic screens in front of him, data cables moving across the controls as he made the final adjustments to his logs.
Despite the almost bored way his cables moved, his processor was deep in focus, everywhere at once. It made it easier to tune in on the hushed whispers and gossip drifting in from the main deck. Most wouldn't hear it without being closer, but Soundwave wasn't the Decepticons' spy master for nothing.
"Did you hear? Bots down on second deck are saying Soundwave has had a conjunx this entire time." A vehicon tried and failed to keep his voice low, tone dripping with amused disbelief.
"Soundwave?" Another scoffed, keeping his voice near inaudible as if speaking the Communications Officer's name would summon him. How little they knew. "Frag, that’s nonsense” They snorted derisively, "I mean, come on. Can you imagine having to wake up next to.. that? it’s impossible!”
Soundwave felt little ire or insult at their comments. This wasn't the first time he'd heard about his personal life spreading around and he was sure it wouldn't be the last. He was well known for his asocial, oftentimes apathetic personality and he didn't blame the rumors.
Well, they weren't necessarily rumors. Soundwave and Guest had just taken to keeping matters of the spark away from work and in the privacy of their quarters. But it seemed someone had figured it out, or simply made an educated guess, and now he was the talk of the show throughout the Nemesis.
