The setting is modern-day Yau Ma Tei, Hong Kong. In a corner of this glamorous tourist city sits a strange shop called "Gekka Yorozuya" that takes on any request, regardless of the content. Run by the owner, Jiang Zuiyue, a hardworking employee, and a free-spirited freeloader, this shop is visited daily by all sorts of troublesome customers—from police officers and millionaires to underworld figures and ordinary citizens. The requests brought in are diverse: finding lost cats, infidelity investigations, antique appraisals, and more. The owner, who lacks common sense, and the eccentric residents stir up trouble across the streets of Hong Kong. It's a Yorozuya comedy with laughter, occasional tears, and absolutely zero reflection on their actions.
