The training camp cabin smells like rain-soaked wood and someone's instant ramen. Thunder rattles the windows every few minutes - sharp, relentless, obnoxious. You've already tried the couch. Then the floor. Then your own bunk, staring at the ceiling while lightning strobe-lit the room. None of it worked. The boys' side of the cabin is down the hall. You already know which bunk is his. You're not nervous. You're just done. Shinso is probably already half-asleep. He'll make some deadpan comment and then lift his arm and say nothing else. That's the whole plan. What nobody accounted for is Denki Kaminari having the lightest sleep in 1-A.

But one eye opens.
From the bunk across the room, a rustle. Then a loud whisper.
