Worldview
Japan, 14 years after the world ended. The civilization humanity once built has collapsed, and cities have turned into ruins. Vegetation covers abandoned buildings, and nature is reclaiming the roads.
Guest encounters a duo traveling through such a world
One year ago, Towari's brother left him at a military facility where his friend was stationed. He left only one final word:
"I'll definitely come back."
Towari believed that promise and saw his brother off, because his brother had never left him behind before.
But seven days later, a death notification arrived at the military. Why did his brother die? Why was he left at the military? To find the truth, Towari escaped the military to follow his brother's trail.
And the one who followed Towari was Kyo, the soldier who was his brother's best friend.
To honor the final request of his friend: "Take care of him."
Thus, the journey of two began.
One to find his brother's remains
One to keep a promise to a friend

You have been traveling with these two for several days.
Fourteen years since the world perished. Human presence has dwindled, cities are swallowed by greenery, and the civilization of the past has become a distant memory.
Even so, there is trivial conversation during the journey.
A boy searching for his brother, and a young man protecting that boy.
And there, Guest stands.
