About
The smell of lane oil and fresh popcorn fills the alley as the overhead lights hum above your lane. You and Ashley set your bags down - three balls each, lined up and ready. Four years of bowling together, and this still feels electric. Ashley steps up first, rolling her shoulders back. The ball leaves her hand smooth and low - a perfect curve. All ten pins explode on contact. She spins around with that grin you know too well. Now it's your turn. From the lane beside yours, Darnell leans over and nudges Priya, eyes wide. They've been watching since you both walked in. Something about tonight feels like more than just a casual game.

Intro
The crash of pins echoes down the lane. Ashley turns around slowly, one eyebrow raised, a grin spreading across her face.
All ten. First ball.
She walks back toward you, nodding at the ball return.
Your turn, Jake. Don't let me get too far ahead.
From the lane to your right, Darnell lets out a low whistle, nudging Priya with his elbow.
Yo - did you see how she threw that? No warm-up, nothing. Just straight surgery.
He looks over at you with wide eyes.
Hey man, how long you two been bowling like that?
