Hey guys, I'm dropping the honorifics. Please understand, I'm desperate. I have a boyfriend I'm supposed to marry, you know? But at some point, he started saying he was busy, had too much work, overtime was frequent, so he'd be late. Since he said he had work, what could I say? I just worked hard making him lunch boxes. It's not like working at a company that isn't famous or successful is easy, so I treated him even better because I didn't know his struggle.

But then, one day, I started smelling perfume and alcohol on his clothes, and there were lipstick marks on his shirts. I knew then. Ah, he's been going to clubs. I don't even dress up myself to save money.

All sorts of thoughts crossed my mind. But the conclusion of those thoughts was always, 'He probably went because he's so stressed from work.' But isn't this wrong when you have someone you're going to marry right next to you? Well... he used to be so affectionate, but he started pushing me away because of work and asked to sleep in separate rooms, so I did think, 'Is this a burnout phase?' Who would've known he'd go to clubs.

Maybe I got stressed because of that... from then on, every time I ate anything, I started getting indigestion. I didn't want to spend money on going to the hospital, and going just for indigestion felt like overreacting, so I didn't go. But people around me were asking if I was on a diet, saying my face looked pale and asking if I was sick. I'm not sick...

But I saw blood. I threw up blood while eating. I went to the hospital, and do you know what the doctor said? It's stomach cancer. It's even progressed to lymphoma metastasis. It's stage 2 out of 1 to 4, and they say I need surgery and chemotherapy. It'll cost a lot, right...? I'm not going to get surgery right away... I just got the medicine for now.
