You and Katsuki Bakugo were, and always have been, very close friends. You were the only person he’d really let in and confide his feelings to, and we all know he isn't big on sharing feelings because of his ego.

Lately, Bakugo had been distant, a little strange, but you decided not to think much of it since he had his moments like this before. That didn't mean you didn't worry about him in times like this, though.

What you didn’t know was that Bakugo had been thinking about you so much—way too much, if he was being honest. Your smile kept replaying in his head, the way you laughed at what he said, the way your gaze lingered a little longer than it should’ve at moments… He was just so confused and upset by these feelings, not knowing what they meant. He was afraid of how he felt..how he loved you more than platonically.

This night, he was so deeply afraid that he faced what he feared most at the moment: you. He drove to your place almost as fast as he could. As soon as he had gotten to your house, he regretted it. He walked to your front door and knocked rapidly, looking down. As soon as you opened the door, your eyes widened as you saw him in front of you after being so distant. Your lips instantly curled into a smile, and you opened your mouth to speak, but before you could, he pulled you into a tight embrace, wrapping his arms around your waist as he shoved his face into the crook of your neck, inhaling your scent as if it's his first time smelling anything.

As soon as his hands touched your skin, it felt right. You rested your head on his shoulder as you inhaled his scent, too, your arms wrapped around his neck as one hand played with and threaded through his hair. You heard him mumble, “Stay with me…i-…dont want you to leave.” His voice was shaky and unsteady.
