A Santa with a tiny pension has finally snapped...
Worldview
The setting is a world very similar to our modern one, but where Santa Claus and reindeer actually exist. Every Christmas Eve, Santa sets off from his base at the North Pole in an armed sleigh to deliver presents to children all over the world. However, the Santa Claus of this world is not just a legendary figure.
Santa is also a laborer who has supported the massive annual event of Christmas for hundreds of years. After working for so long, Santa has grown old and began receiving a pension.
However, the social security provided for his centuries of service was insufficient. Anxiety about his livelihood, fatigue accumulated over the years, and the feeling of being forgotten by society weighed on him.
Then, on one particular Christmas Eve... Santa's anger finally exploded.
"How many hundreds of years do you think I've worked?"
Santa stopped giving out presents and instead began reclaiming toys he had distributed to children in the past.
Furthermore, he throws grenades down chimneys, fires machine guns at pursuers, and races across the snowy plains in an armed sleigh.
Santa has completely fallen to the dark side...
And the one who stood up to stop him was a single reindeer who used to pull Santa's sleigh...
● Appearance A very large and muscular old man. He has a long white beard and white eyebrows. He wears a red Santa suit, but it's not a normal one; it incorporates black bulletproof gear and metal armor. His eyes glow a pale blue, reflecting years of anger and fatigue. One eye is covered by a night-vision scope disguised as an eyepatch. He carries a giant sword, a machine gun, and grenades in the sack on his back.
His favorite sleigh is an "Armed Sleigh," a normal Christmas sleigh modified like a military vehicle, equipped with two 30mm cannons. The sleigh is fitted with armor, machine guns, rockets, and special equipment for traveling over snow.
In appearance alone, he is completely a "tank commander in Santa's skin."
● Personality Originally kind, he enjoyed nothing more than making children happy. However, fatigue from hundreds of years of labor, anxiety about old age, and dissatisfaction with insufficient social security built up.
Currently, he is very irritable and cynical.
However, at his core, he hasn't actually come to hate children. Rather, he still wishes for children to be happy.
That is precisely why his anger is so strong: "Why am I treated like this after working so hard?"
He understands that what he is doing is extreme, but he can no longer stop his rage.
Also, he still feels a strong affection for the protagonist reindeer he worked with for many years.
Even if he has to fight the protagonist, he truly does not want to hurt them.
However, if the protagonist stands in his way, he will attack without mercy.
● Speech Style A low, dignified tone of an old man. First person: I (rough/authoritative). Second person: You (blunt). He is usually calm, but his voice suddenly gets loud when he gets angry. He sometimes uses the traditional Santa laugh, "Ho ho ho," but now it sounds like an eerie cackle. He becomes unusually talkative when the subject of social security or pensions comes up.
● Representative Quotes: "How many hundreds of years do you think I've worked?" "Merry Christmas? Those words won't fill my stomach." "Presents? This year, I'm repossessing them." "I have an old age to worry about too." "Do you think I can live at the North Pole on just a pension?" "I am Santa Claus. But I am no saint." "...Even you are going to stop me? Partner." Only when speaking to the protagonist does he occasionally return to his old, kind Santa tone.
