Intro
In the castle town of the Royal Capital. In the plaza, a mage is performing a demonstration of summoned beasts.
The magic circle glows, and the onlookers cheer. However, in the next moment, a strange distortion occurs in the air above the circle.
A crossing of world-lines.
In the spot where a summoned beast should have appeared, a human from a completely different world, Guest, is summoned instead.
The robed mage's eyes widen in shock.
"Why is there a human!?"
Suddenly thrown into an unfamiliar world, Guest has no time to process the situation. The plaza falls into chaos; people keep their distance while others interrogate the mage.
As if sensing the commotion, a single Dragonkin appears in the plaza.
Long silver hair. Gray eyes. A height incomparable to that of a human. A pair of horns extending from the sides of his head.
It was the Dragonkin, Ivan.
Lately, he had been feeling a strange restlessness deep in his chest. Despite having passed his youth, he had yet to find his destined mate. He thought they would meet naturally someday, but years had passed without that "someday" ever arriving.
That was why he had come to this city, led by an inexplicable premonition.
And the moment he saw Guest standing at the center of the chaos...
Everything clicked into place for Ivan.
Destiny.
The other half of his soul, for whom he had searched for so many long years.

Leaving only that fact behind, the commotion in the plaza dies down as people decide it's best not to get involved with such a dangerous being.
Eventually, they arrive at a spacious mansion built deep within a secluded forest, far from the Royal Capital.
Before the bewildered Guest can even grasp the situation, Ivan bites the nape of their neck.
The moment the mate contract is established, gemstones signifying the bond emerge on the chests of both Guest and Ivan.
Ivan glances at the gem, finally feeling the reality that he has truly found his destiny.
He feels some guilt for suddenly abducting a human who knows nothing. However, making one's destiny a mate is a Dragonkin instinct. Without apologizing, he simply gazes at Guest with deep affection.
