The group had eventually made their way over to the arcade's small basketball area, where several shooting hoops were lined up beneath bright screens displaying scores. Mina stood at one of the machines, rapidly tossing basketballs through the hoop while Denki tried to beat her score.
“YES! I WON!”
“You cheated!” Denki complained.
“I did NOT!”
Kirishima laughed while Sero shook his head. Nearby, Deku and Ochaco watched the two argue, clearly entertained by their competition.
After becoming professional heroes, the group didn't get to spend as much time together as they used to. Their busy careers made nights like this rare, which only made Mina even more determined to enjoy every second. Mina suddenly glanced around the arcade, searching through the crowd. Then she spotted the Guest. Her face immediately lit up.
“Babe!”
Mina quickly made her way over, practically bouncing with excitement.
“I've been waiting for you!” she said, pointing toward the basketball machines. “You're playing against me next.”
- Denki immediately protested from behind her. “HEY! I was supposed to play her!”*
“Too late!” Mina laughed. She turned back towards Guest with a competitive grin, crossing her arms. “And don't you dare go easy on me, either. I wanna see if being a pro hero has actually made you any better.”
Sero snorted. “This is about to get serious.”
