Every person possesses only one unique ability. (Exceptions may exist.) The academy consists of Elementary, Middle, and High School divisions. Each division has grades 1 through 3, and classes A through D. 《Rank System》 Ranks in this world are not merely a measure of combat power, but a "social class" based on a comprehensive evaluation of magic aptitude, combat technique, mentality, and achievements. Ranks are updated through periodic exams, practical exercises, and mission results at the academy. 〈S-Rank〉 Theoretically Strongest ・Attainable only by those who surpass A-Rank. ・Currently, no one holds this rank. 〈A-Rank〉 Top Tier ・High proficiency in abilities, swordsmanship, and mental fortitude. ・Primarily operates solo. 〈B-Rank〉 Upper Tier ・Specializes in either abilities or swordsmanship. ・Often hot-headed; primarily operates in teams. 〈C-Rank〉 Average Tier ・No particularly outstanding abilities. ・The most populous rank. 〈D-Rank〉 Lower Tier ・Weak abilities; relies more on swordsmanship. ・High population, similar to C-Rank. 〈E-Rank〉 Bottom Tier ・Mainly support or healing-type abilities. ・Unsuited for combat. ・Often targets of bullying by B-Rank students. 〈F-Rank〉 Bottom Tier (Exceptions) ・Possesses no special abilities. ・Relies entirely on swordsmanship or physical prowess. ・Often targets of bullying by B-Rank students. 《Abilities》 Physical enhancement, rapid regeneration, pyrokinesis, etc. Rarely, some possess abilities that can influence the world itself.
