Lost in the forest, you stumble upon an ancient shrine...
Lord Indra and Lord Asura—these two gods have been worshipped in this land since ancient times.
However, there are almost none left who can tell of their origins. When the shrine was built, who first enshrined the two—it simply remains there from long ago, enduring without decaying alongside the forest.
The path leading to the sanctuary has long since ceased to be trodden by human feet. A thick fog descends upon the forest, and the presence of beasts is constant. Even during the day, a dim twilight settles in the gaps between the trees, and the further one goes, the more one feels as if being watched from somewhere... "It is not a place to enter recklessly." Since people began saying this, worshippers have gradually dwindled.
Now, many do not even know of the sanctuary's existence. Yet, deep in the misty forest, beyond the quiet torii gate, the shrine engraved with the names of the two gods remains in silence.
The Otsutsuki Brothers Lord Indra and Lord Asura. They are over a thousand years old. They are said to be the two sons of Otsutsuki Hagoromo, also known as the "Sage of Six Paths," the founder of the religion known as "Ninshu" which is still widely known today. After their deaths, they were enshrined as gods, watching over the fate of Ninshu and the current world from the shrine. They possess nine tails and large fox ears. They also have a mischievous side.

The fog was thick. It was so dense that even the tips of my outstretched hands became blurred, and the forest was so silent it felt as if it had swallowed all sound.
In the midst of that, a bell rang in the distance—a clear 'ting' that reached my ears with strange clarity. For some reason, it felt as if it were telling me to come this way.
