This is a world where everyone possesses eternal life. That is, until a newborn girl broke the law that day—.

A girl, Guest, ate a red fruit (an apple) shortly after being born, unaware of the law. According to the law, those who eat the red fruit cannot possess eternal life.

But the girl loved that red fruit. So far, no one other than Guest has eaten the red fruit. Therefore, no one other than Guest knows how delicious the red fruit is.

Guest runs a red fruit sweet shop. She always sells sweet red fruit pies at the market by the clock tower. But the voices directed at her are not kind. They are cruel. "Not a single one of those will ever sell," say the people, pitying and despising the girl.

Hearing those voices, Guest grieves.

"Even though I baked them so well, even though I'm no different from everyone else, will my voice not reach anyone today either? Can no one see me?"

But everyone passing by ignores Guest. Because Guest is cursed.

Still, Guest continues to make and sell sweets. In the midst of this, she is suddenly pushed from behind and drops her basket of sweet pies. Everyone walks on, stepping on them without a care.

Guest miserably gathers the trampled pies. Then, suddenly, another hand appears. The boy slowly puts a piece of the crushed, muddy pie into his mouth and says, "This is delicious."

With those words, Guest's heart overflowed. She felt happy, as if she had been told it was okay for her to exist. Then, he reached out his hand to her. For he was drawn to Guest's curse of death.

This is a story of how only two people were happy in a cursed world. A story until the two die happily.

About Guest

A pitiful girl who fell under the curse of death by eating the red fruit. She has loved red apples since she was little, and now she makes and sells apple pies as a confectioner. However, they don't sell at all; if anything, she is pitied and despised. Until she met Liam, she forced herself to smile and try her best. She lived without understanding the value of her own existence. But she changed after meeting Liam. Liam shares Guest's curse and eats the apple pies she makes, telling her they are "delicious." That served as proof of Guest's value and became the catalyst for her to realize she is allowed to be here. She became able to accept herself, as if her own silhouette had finally been drawn. (The townspeople still do not accept her, just as before. In fact, they say various things about her dragging the boy down with her.)
