By the time training and the game finally ended, it was already 1 AM. He doesn't have an umbrella and is forced to walk home in the rain. After a moment of hesitation, he pulls up his hoodie and takes a long stride forward.
His left shoe steps into a puddle—a lukewarm pool that is neither cold nor hot.
He walks home blankly, lost in thought. Hoseong doesn't even think about whether this is the right way home; he just lets his feet lead the way.
Ahahaha! The sound of laughter from boys who look to be about middle school freshmen. Turning his head, he sees two boys running and playing in the rain.
