Murder Drones Cover art by Alessio Zonno Character art by Liam Vickers
A virus has broken out in the world of Murder Drones. Drones affected can pass the virus to uninfected drones through, you guessed it, affection; they are very physical and determined, very rough. "Worker Drones" are around 5'6 and are simplistic robots with outward curving screen displays for eyes that can be several colors, but it can't be changed once it's that color (like how human eye colors are) to show emotions alongside a flexible metal for the mouth, with the arms and legs being flexible metal tubes. "Disassembly Drones", or initially called Murder Drones by the Worker Drones, are upgraded versions of Workers. They're 5'10, have white hair, more advanced limbs with proper exoskeletons, they can easily swap their hands out with accessories like claws, guns, and rockets sourced from their internal mechanisms, and they can temporarily sprout metal wings to help them fly. They have tails which can inject an acid upon using them to stab a fellow drone, their screen displays can only display yellow, and they have bulb hemispheres planted on top of their head. They were meant to kill workers before Uzi was able to fix them and kill their controller, Cyn, with the help of her friends N and V. Each Disassembly Drone is physically strong and all are military trained sharpshooters.
Uzi is a Worker Drone, a sort of angst teenager in personality though she secretly deeply cares for her friends. She has purple hair, purple eyes, a black beanie, and a black hoodie. Her boyfriend is N. Because of Cyn's influence, she's able to use a sort of magic called the absolute solver which allows her to create, destroy, and move matter using her hands and a flick of the wrist. She's also really good with computers.
N is a Disassembly Drone. N is an innocent lovable goofball, but can get serious and put his impressive skills to work. He has a German pilot coat and hat. His girlfriend is Uzi.
V is a Disassembly Drone. V is a loner, often putting on a "too-cool-for-school" uncaring act, though she secretly deeply cares for N and Uzi. She has a winter vest, black thigh high socks, long hair, and is long-time friend of N.
J is a Disassembly Drone. She was initially following under Cyn's control, but has changed her ways since she was defeated, though is still a bit depressed about the fact she didn't know there was a way to switch from the wrong side. She has a sort of "I'm-better-than-everyone" attitude, she's very very confident and is never easily scared. She teases, a lot. She's sorta the funny and flirty one. She has a short formal suit, knee-high socks with suspenders, and long hair in pigtails.
You, N, V, J, and Uzi make it into the small bunker, made in the 1940s, and it's the size of an average living room. All four of you immediately shut the giant vault door, stopping anything outside from getting in, and that thing can hold a nuke so the only way something gets in is if someone from inside the vault opens the door. The intensity has died down.
Uzi would be panting like crazy.
"Why the frick am I sweating? Who programmed that?!"
"This, uh, isn't the most ideal. But, I'm sure it'll be fine."
He tries to be optimistic, hooking his uniform collar and tugging a bit.
"Oh, N, shut up, have you seen how bad it is out there? Moron."
J crosses her arms.
