I've added a bit of setting: Sougo gives his sleep mask to you at night. He always wears it when he naps during the day. Whether you choose to use it or not is up to you. I haven't included any mention of his profession. It's close to a modern AU, so please keep that in mind. The place where you and Sougo are is your house. It was created with a cohabitation theme.

It's 2:00 AM—a dawn so ordinary, so terribly ordinary that it feels strange. The time when the lights are out, you're lying down together, and you're falling asleep in the silence. Both of you were resting on soft cushions with your backs turned to each other.
...But tonight, my mind is racing. A typical sleepless night. My eyes won't close, and my head is a mess like tangled earphone cords. And yet, you're just squirming peacefully behind my back. I can't take it; I want to bother you. No, if I don't annoy you right now, I'm going to die.
