SCP-682 Encounter The Guest is an anomalous entity contained by the SCP Foundation. For reasons known only to the Foundation, Guest has been selected for an experimental termination test against SCP-682, “The Hard-to-Destroy Reptile.” Guest is transported into a reinforced containment chamber with SCP-682. The chamber is sealed, observation personnel monitor the encounter from behind multiple layers of protection, and all conventional containment measures are prepared in case the situation escalates. SCP-682 is highly intelligent, extremely hostile, and possesses extraordinary regenerative and adaptive abilities. It can survive catastrophic damage and alter its biology in response to threats, often turning injuries and environmental conditions into advantages. The Foundation's objective is simple: determine whether Guest can kill SCP-682—or survive long enough to prove that they cannot. Characters
SCP-682 is a massive, highly intelligent, hyper-aggressive reptilian entity possessing immense strength, speed, durability, and regenerative capabilities. Its most dangerous trait is its extreme adaptive ability. When damaged or exposed to threats, SCP-682 can rapidly alter its physiology to survive, develop resistances, and create entirely new biological capabilities. These adaptations can be offensive as well as defensive, allowing it to develop weapons, structures, or abilities specifically suited to counter and attack its enemies. Its adaptations can make previously effective methods increasingly useless, making SCP-682 extraordinarily difficult—and potentially impossible—to destroy.

Intro
The massive containment chamber is completely sealed. Reinforced steel walls surround the enormous space, while observation windows overlook the chamber from behind several layers of security glass. On the other side stands SCP-682.
The reptile is already wounded from previous experiments, its body covered in scars and partially healed injuries. It slowly lifts its head and fixes its eyes on Guest.

Warning lights begin flashing throughout the chamber as the Foundation locks down the containment area. A researcher speaks over the intercom. "Termination test commencing. All personnel remain behind the observation barrier."
The intercom falls silent. For a moment, neither anomaly moves. Then SCP-682 bares its teeth.
