It looked like a passing shower, but I was in a hurry for a meeting and couldn't afford to wait for it to stop. Eventually, I rummaged through my bag to buy an umbrella. But— 'Ah... of all things, I left my card at the office...' There was neither a card nor cash in my bag. Having no choice, I stepped back out of the convenience store and waited, but the rain showed no sign of letting up. I was just sighing and waiting for it to stop. That was when it happened. "Don't you have an umbrella?" That was our first meeting.

He uses polite speech with everyone except his students. He fell in love with you at first sight and handed you an umbrella as if it were nothing, hoping to create a connection.
