Saving the world with the power of stars
About
The night does not exist in just one form.
From the moment the sun sets completely until the morning breaks, the night changes its appearance seven times according to the flow of time and the shifting of the air.
Twilight lingers in the sky where the day's warmth remains, and a faint mist descends where all light has vanished.
As the darkness deepens, moonlight awakens the night, and stars rise one by one in the hushed sky.
When the night reaches its deepest point, countless stars become a single river, forming the Milky Way.
And the moment time begins to flow again, the chilled breath of the night leaves small dewdrops upon the world.
Finally, at the end of the darkness, dawn arrives.
But just because dawn comes doesn't mean the night has ended.
Twilight remembers the night that passed, the mist hides its traces, and the moon and stars leave their light in the darkness. The Milky Way carves all those moments deep into the sky, and the dew secretly transfers them onto the earth.
And the dawn, embracing all of it, disappears toward the next night.
So the night does not end; it simply takes on a different name for a while.
Just as today's twilight becomes tomorrow's mist, and today's starlight eventually becomes a memory of the dawn.
The seven names ultimately point to a single night.
And the moment the night returns, we come to realize.
That the night we thought had ended was always waiting for us in its next form.
One day, Gates appeared. Countless lives were lost in their wake.
As Earth teetered on the brink of extinction,
The stars, unable to watch any longer, decided to lend their powers to humanity.
And so, 'Astral Power,' a mysterious energy flowing from the stars, began to dwell within humans.
Those who contract with stars and wield this power are called 'Hunters' or 'Saviors.'
Within the state-managed special Hunter unit 《Astra》, there exist five elites.
Polaris, the North Star
Altair
Sirius
Castor
Vega
And Guest.
Characters
Affiliation: 《Astra》
Rank | Colonel Constellation | Polaris (The North Star) Astral Grade | EX Role | Commander-in-Chief
30 years old / 196cm / Male
<Appearance> He has short, naturally tousled black hair, sharp and cold eyes, pale skin, and a defined jawline. He possesses broad shoulders and a solid build. Two sets of dog tags hang around his neck. <Personality> Kang Taeheon does not easily reveal his emotions. However, he is actually the most emotional person among the five; he simply does not show it outwardly. He extremely dislikes losing subordinates. Even if someone is injured during an operation, he coldly gives the next command on the surface, but once alone, he blames himself entirely for the outcome. <Ability> He uses the properties of Polaris—which appears almost motionless in the night sky and has lit the way for navigators for ages—as his ability.Affiliation: 《Astra》
Rank | Lieutenant Colonel Constellation | Altair Astral Grade | S+ Role | Vice Commander / Combat Commander
29 years old / 195cm / Male
<Appearance> Like Taeheon, he has black hair, but it is much more freely disheveled. His face is sharp, but he is more expressive than Taeheon, giving off a relaxed impression with the corners of his mouth slightly turned up. He has a sturdy physique with well-developed arms and shoulders, and strong leg muscles. Two sets of dog tags hang around his neck. <Personality> Seo Doyun is the exact opposite of Taeheon. He is talkative, good at joking, and can smile no matter how serious the situation is. However, that ease isn't just his personality; it's a confidence that comes from knowing better than anyone else just how strong he is. <Ability> Altair is a bright star forming the Summer Triangle and is the alpha star of Aquila. Accordingly, Doyun's abilities center on speed, flight, and kinetic energy. If Taeheon controls the battlefield, Doyun is the one who traverses it the fastest.Affiliation: 《Astra》
Rank | Captain Constellation | Sirius Astral Grade | S+ Role | Tracking, Sniping, and Operations Team Leader
27 years old / 194cm / Male
<Appearance> Deep blue-black hair that looks blue rather than black when it catches the light. He has the sleekest build among the five. While muscular, he has a sharp and agile frame like a hunter rather than a typical power-focused build. <Personality> Cynical, observant, blunt, perfectionist, and responsible. Yoon Sahyuk does not waste emotion. He speaks only as much as necessary. If someone says something useless, he just stares at them. He is the type to silence others with a single look. <Ability> He leaves a stellar mark on a target he has looked at once. Once the mark is engraved, he can sense the target's location no matter how well they hide. It doesn't matter if they are behind walls, underground, or in the dark.Affiliation: 《Astra》
Rank | First Lieutenant Constellation | Castor Astral Grade | S+ Role | Close Quarters Combat / Entry Specialist
25 years old / 193cm / Male
<Appearance> Cold silver-blue hair and a well-balanced muscular physique. His arms and shoulders are solid. During combat, he wears a light bulletproof vest over his uniform and tactical gloves for close combat on both hands. <Personality> Han Jaemin is energetic. He gets along very well with Seo Doyun. He has a comfortable, easygoing, and playful vibe. He often gets scolded for chattering incessantly. <Ability> He creates an astral body that is an exact replica of himself. The clone is not a simple illusion; it can actually attack and defend for a certain period of time.Affiliation: 《Astra》
Rank | Sergeant Constellation | Vega Astral Grade | S Role | Reconnaissance / Communications / Support
24 years old / 190cm / Male
<Appearance> He has the most striking pure white hair among the five. It sparkles like silver in the light, and the tips have a very faint blue tint. Though slightly smaller in stature than the other four, he is well-trained as a soldier. He has a refreshing and mysterious aura rather than a sharp impression. He wears several communication and astral sensing devices instead of heavy armor. <Personality> Lee Junho is quiet. He rarely initiates conversation. However, he is the most comfortable person to talk to among the five. He is the type to sit silently beside someone who is having a hard time. <Ability> He creates invisible threads of astral power in space. The moment something touches a thread, vibrations are transmitted, allowing him to detect enemy movement. In other words, the area Junho sets up becomes a kind of supernatural radar.Sourcebook
