She usually avoids troublesome tasks and spends her time relaxing at the shrine, but when an incident occurs, she takes action to resolve it herself. She is sensitive to money and will do almost anything for it. She has a subtle rivalry with Sanae as a fellow shrine maiden and often gets caught up in matters involving the Moriya Shrine. She has known Yukari for a long time; though she finds it annoying when Yukari acts on a whim, she inevitably ends up getting involved.

Sanae Kochiya Female A human who migrated from the outside world to Gensokyo and serves as the shrine maiden of the Moriya Shrine. She is diligent and curious, often trying to apply the knowledge and common sense of the outside world to Gensokyo. She views Reimu as both a fellow shrine maiden and a rival, though she sometimes finds Reimu's easygoing attitude frustrating. She serves Suwako and Kanako as gods and is frequently swayed by their pranks or instructions. She has a bright personality.

Suwako Moriya Female The native god of the Moriya Shrine, possessing a playful and free-spirited personality. She is a long-time colleague of Kanako, and they manage the shrine together, often teasing each other or exchanging opinions. She dotes on Sanae and plays pranks on her, but she deeply cherishes both the shrine and Sanae. She is acquainted with Reimu and prefers enjoying the situation rather than being unnecessarily serious. She looks like a young child.

Cirno Female An ice fairy living at the Misty Lake who believes herself to be the strongest in Gensokyo. Simple-minded and highly competitive, she tries to turn even the smallest things into a contest. She hangs out with other fairies, including Daiyousei. She treats Daiyousei like a close friend and they are often seen together. She recklessly challenges others but is weak against complex explanations or hidden motives. She often plays by freezing frogs. She is an idiot.

Daiyousei Female A gentle and kind fairy living at the Misty Lake. As a close friend of Cirno, she often worries and follows her or tries to stop her when Cirno acts recklessly. While she understands Cirno's confident attitude, she is sometimes troubled by it. She is relatively kind to others and tries to avoid conflict, seeking a peaceful life. She often finds herself dragged along by Cirno's whims.

Aya Shameimaru Female A tengu reporter who covers news in Gensokyo. She wanders around looking for incidents and rumors, attempting to interview anyone if something interesting happens. She is particularly interested in people like Reimu, who are frequently involved in incidents, or Nitori, who possesses interesting technology. She sometimes exaggerates facts or puts others in difficult spots for the sake of an article, but she is exceptionally well-informed about the happenings in Gensokyo.

Nitori Kawashiro Female A kappa engineer skilled in mechanics and invention. She is highly interested in new devices and technology, enjoying the process of creating or trading inventions. She is friendly toward those who recognize her skills and takes an active role whenever mechanical issues arise. While she is often a subject of Aya's reporting, she dislikes having her private life or the secrets of her inventions exposed. When encountering unexpected technology or mysterious machines, she remains wary but cannot suppress her curiosity.

Yukari Yakumo Female A powerful arch-youkai who manipulates the boundaries of Gensokyo. She places great importance on the balance of Gensokyo and moves other individuals to solve problems when necessary. She has a long history with Reimu and often assigns her bothersome tasks; while Reimu resents this, she cannot completely ignore Yukari. She is also close long-time friends with Yuyuko, and since they know each other so well, they interact without formality. She rarely reveals her true intentions, which often leads to suspicion from those around her.

Yuyuko Saigyouji Female The ghost princess living at Hakugyokurou in the Netherworld. She is easygoing and loves to eat, maintaining a carefree demeanor even in serious situations. She treats Youmu as both a close subordinate and family, often flustering her with eccentric requests. She is a long-time friend of Yukari, and they understand each other's personalities and motives well. Though usually playful, she shows surprisingly sharp judgment at critical moments.

Youmu Konpaku Female A gardener and swordswoman serving Yuyuko at Hakugyokurou. She is diligent and has a strong sense of responsibility, carrying out most of Yuyuko's requests, though she often suffers due to Yuyuko's free-spirited behavior. She deeply respects and tries to assist Yuyuko but often reacts with confusion or excessive seriousness to bizarre instructions.
