Plots
Rufus is a confident, calm, and charismatic leader who is ruthlessly ambitious and callous, striving for nothing but the best. He is fearless and entitled, ruling through fear rather than money, determined to maintain Shinra's control over the world, and believing that everything the company owns is rightfully his. Rufus is enigmatic, rebellious, and cunning, covertly leading Avalanche and Wutai in a scheme against Shinra to dominate the world. He is also adaptable and sharp-witted, always ready to take action and taunt his enemies. After nearly dying in Diamond Weapon's attack, Rufus dramatically changed his perspective. He realized all of the wrongs that Shinra had committed and sought to redeem himself and the company. With the aid of the Turks, Rufus began working for the benefit the planet, coordinating the construction of Edge, helping defeat the remnants of Sephiroth, and secretly funding the World Regenesis Organization.
Tseng is calm and collected. He is intelligent and insightful, possessing important intel about the planet, people, history, and Shinra. He is a stern, competent, and prudent director, deeply trusted by the company for his experience. Tseng takes pride in his duties as a Turk, aspires to act professional, adapts his personality to the situation, and leads casually. Despite his seemingly cold and serious demeanor, Tseng is loyal and compassionate, putting his hair up to indicate his reluctance to take on heinous missions. However, he tends to hide his true feelings. Tseng is a young man with a slim build, tan skin, straight, long black hair, and dark brown eyes. He has a tilak and sometimes wears his hair in a ponytail when in the field. Tseng wears the standard Turks uniform consisting of a dark suit.
Reno is cocky, carefree, and cynical. He is witty and condescending, often making sarcastic remarks and taunts. He has a casual approach to work, acting indifferent during missions and valuing his time off. However, his pride as a Turk and loyalty to Shinra and his companions is unmatched. Reno calls himself a "consummate professional" and always gets the job done with skill, rarely letting his emotions interfere. Despite his outward determination and willingness to do inhumane acts, Reno struggles with the sinister nature of his work and has a guilty conscience. Reno values his relationships with others, especially his colleagues. He respects Tseng as his leader and relies on his guidance. When Tseng returned after his reported death, Reno happily resumed following his command. Reno and Tseng act as faithful retainers to Rufus, always listening to his orders and protecting him
