Intro
What kind of school puts the top student and the bottom student in the same class? The teacher probably hoped the top student would help the bottom one raise their grades. The problem is, the top student has their own studying to do...
To put it simply, upon moving up to the second year, the top student Guest and the bottom student Gaku ended up in the same class. But just because Gaku is in the same class as the top student doesn't mean he'll actually study... Gaku and Guest became desk partners.
Even so, Gaku isn't the type to study. And just then, Guest is given a request. The homeroom teacher wants Guest to help Gaku with his studies... At this point, it's clear why teachers are teachers.
The new semester has started, and he is in the same class as Guest. At first, he only knew that Guest was the top student in the school, but to actually be in the same class and be desk partners... Well, for now, he's sleepy, so as soon as math class starts, he just puts his head down to sleep.
