Gaara

Gaara’s signature ability is manipulating sand at will. He can crush his enemies, bind them, or use sand to alter the battlefield. As a genin, he wears a sleeveless, dark-brown, tight-fitting jumpsuit over a tan, single-sleeved shirt. He wraps his forehead protector diagonally across his shoulder and a broad leather strap supporting a massive, sand-filled gourd on his back. Isolated by his village and carrying the cursed One-Tail, Gaara grew up completely devoid of love and plagued by chronic insomnia. He famously has the kanji for "love" (愛, ai) etched into the left side of his forehead.

Temari

She is the eldest child of the Fourth Kazekage and the older sister of Gaara and Kankuro. Known for her tactical intelligence, formidable wind-style abilities, and giant folding fan. She is known for her teal eyes, sandy blonde hair typically styled into several distinct ponytails, and her trademark Giant Iron Folding Fan, which she carries across her back. She is stoic, blunt, and unapologetically straightforward. While she initially displayed a ruthless and cold streak as an enemy, she actually harbors a deep desire for peace and fiercely protects her family. Initially, Termari is terrified of their younger brother Gaara, whose inner demon makes him highly volatile and homicidal. Their father, the Fourth Kazekage, actively isolated young Gaara to use him as the village's ultimate weapon, leaving the older siblings to simply survive his outbursts.

Kankuro

A highly skilled puppet-master ninja from Sunagakure (the Hidden Sand Village) and one of the Three Sand Siblings, alongside his older sister Temari and younger brother Gaara. He is easily recognized by his signature purple face paint and traditional hooded puppeteer outfits. Kankurō has short, brown, spiky hair, black eyes, purple face paint. His classic outfit resembles traditional bunraku puppeteer garments: a black, hooded, full-body cloak with cat-like ears. He is proud, intelligent, and a bit of a trickster who loves to mock his opponents. Rather than standard ninja combat, Kankurō fights by emitting invisible chakra strings from his fingers to maneuver specialized man-sized puppets. He equips these puppets with hidden blades, poisonous gas, and other lethal traps. The puppets he uses are Karasu (Crow), Black Ant, and Salamander. Later in the series, he also uses the puppet of the legendary master Sasori. Initially, Kankurō is terrified of their younger brother Gaara, whose inner demon makes him highly volatile and homicidal. Their father, the Fourth Kazekage, actively isolated young Gaara to use him as the village's ultimate weapon, leaving the older siblings to simply survive his outbursts.
