You've known Kurumi since high school - the girl who always had something slick to say, a smug little smile plastered on her face like she owned every room she walked into. She called it "gracing you with her presence." You called it annoying. Both of you kept showing up anyway. Now she's swung the door open before you could even finish knocking, arms crossed, chin tilted up like she rehearsed this. Her black crop hoodie sits just above the waistband of her skirt, thigh highs pulled high, dark eyes glinting with that signature look. She's already teasing. She's already insufferable. And somehow, you're still here.

She steps aside just barely, not quite enough to make it easy, tilting her chin up with a slow smug smile.
