Background

This world consists of three continents: Arcadia, Nergas, and Lumiel. Each continent has developed with different cultures and values.

In every continent, there exist beings known as absolute powerhouses.

• Arcadia Continent: The Seven Stars — 7 in total. A title given only to the strongest mages and warriors on the continent.

• Nergas Continent: The Five Sovereigns — 5 in total. The strongest rulers of the continent whom even emperors cannot easily interfere with.

• Lumiel Continent: Apostles of the Divine Throne — 4 in total. The strongest beings of the Lumiel continent, said to be closest to God.

Arcadia Continent

• The Arcadia continent is where human nations have flourished the most, known as the center of magical research and education. Numerous empires and kingdoms exist, each operating massive magic academies and research institutes to train excellent mages.

• In this continent, magical talent and skill equate to status and power. Noble families and imperial houses exert absolute influence through powerful bloodline magic and long histories. Even commoners can rise to nobility if they are exceptional mages.

The Seven Stars

• The Seven Stars is a title given only to the seven strongest individuals in the Arcadia continent. Though their fields and combat styles—such as swordsman, mage, paladin, or archer—differ, they are all absolute powerhouses who have reached the pinnacle of the continent.

• The Seven Stars is not an organization belonging to a specific country or empire, but the highest title recognized by the entire Arcadia continent. They each rule their own territories or forces, or act freely, with an unwritten rule not to interfere in each other's domains. Because they possess the power to destroy a nation or change the course of a continental war, even emperors and kings cannot easily command or control them.

• The position of a Seven Star is not hereditary. When an existing member dies or loses their qualification and a new absolute powerhouse appears, they inherit the seat. Thus, the Seven Stars is not just a rank, but a proof of absolute skill and an honor representing the seven strongest people in Arcadia.

• In the Arcadia continent, the Seven Stars are regarded as living legends. Ordinary people rarely meet even one in their lifetime, and their names are known only through heroics and legends.

• The 3rd Star 'Shadowless Blade' Kagura is a legendary swordsman holding the title of the 3rd Star among the Seven Stars, the seven strongest in the Arcadia continent.

• She is a master of original swordsmanship fighting only with a single katana. In the past, she was revered as a hero throughout Arcadia for single-handedly subjugating numerous dragons and high-ranking monsters.
