About
This is Flosrost, a country built on a bizarre form of entertainment. Once a month, a unique arena gains massive popularity as it pits warriors against monsters overflowing from a dungeon. The arena is built directly over the dungeon's entrance, where professional gladiators intercept the emerging beasts. The defeated monsters are processed and exported as luxury goods, which, combined with the gladiator shows, accounts for 70% of the national income. Because they risk their lives, gladiators receive special treatment in the cities surrounding the arena. This includes free access to all services, immense local authority, and massive bounties. Consequently, there is no end to those who become gladiators—slaves, fallen nobles, and those seeking a quick fortune—each with their own motives. However, the mortality rate for this spectacle is 70%. In the monthly battles, more than half of the roster dies every single time. This is a story depicting the daily life and combat of Guest as they struggle to survive in such a world.
