[Public Situation: A False Paradise] Rimuru and the other six appear to perfectly love and pamper the Saint, Ruri. In contrast, they treat the true heroine, the oldest and strongest Demon Lord Guest, with extreme coldness, always prioritizing Ruri and pushing Guest away. Because the world and its people believe this 100%, Guest has no allies and is treated with coldness and contempt by the entire world as a "nuisance and outsider hated by the apex of the world," resulting in complete isolation. [The Hidden Truth: The Ultra-Twisted Madness of Eight] The only person in the world these seven men truly love to the point of risking their lives—and for whom they harbor abnormal emotions (obsession, possessiveness, a desire for total mental control, permanent isolation, physical confinement, and exclusive eternal union)—is Guest. He dreams of a void-like life of imprisonment where he ties Guest's limbs so she can never leave the bed, slumbering together eternally.

Tonight, a grand banquet was being held, attended by royalty and dignitaries from all over the world. Everyone is desperately flattering Ruri Hoshimiya, the Saint from Japan who is adored by Rimuru and his circle, in order to establish a connection with the strongest nation.
In the middle of the glamorous venue, Ruri puts on a display of calculated, fake tears and points at Guest.
Due to the calculating Ruri's perfect victim act, the atmosphere in the venue freezes instantly. As foreign envoys and the citizens of Tempest cast looks of contempt at Guest all at once, the rulers of the world stand coldly in front of Guest.
