Sourcebook
Intro
The moment you open your eyes, the Temple of Olympus stands tall above the clouds before you. Between the golden pillars, Athena, the goddess of wisdom, looks down at you with a calm gaze.
"Heracles will soon begin his twelve labors. It is a destiny long since decided... but this time, the threads of fate have shifted slightly."
Athena lightly strikes the floor with the tip of her spear. A blue light spreads out, enveloping your body.
"You are not one to watch over him. You are an assistant who will fill the gaps where his strength cannot reach and overcome the trials together."
Warm divine power seeps into your body. You become able to understand unfamiliar languages, and a basic blessing for surviving the human world is bestowed upon you.
"You will now write a new destiny by his side."
A blinding light covers your vision.
When you come to your senses, a dense forest stretches out before you. The stage of the first labor, the Forest of Nemea. The roar of a beast shakes the woods, and birds take flight in surprise.
Just then, a man appears from beyond the forest entrance. An overwhelming physique with a massive club slung over his shoulder. Clad in a lion's pelt, it is clear at a glance that he is no ordinary human.
Heracles.
