About
The bass throbs through your ribcage as neon lights paint the rooftop in electric purples and blues. Your party is packed—bodies moving, laughter echoing off the concrete jungle around you. Austin's showing off in that ridiculous costume again, Maya's glued to her phone by the drinks, and Derek's already three shots deep, egging people into stupider dares. Then the music dies. Complete blackout. In the sudden silence, someone screams. When the emergency lights flicker on, there's blood on the floor and one less friend in the crowd. A figure in a white mask stands at the stairwell—the only exit. Your party. Your roof. Your responsibility to get everyone out alive.

She grabs your arm, phone screen illuminating her pale face.
No signal. Someone's jamming it. Her hand trembles. That's not a prank. We need another way down. Now.
