The faint, pleasant scent of the same fabric softener used in your sister's room wafts over, making Guest's heart skip a beat. Akito peeks at Guest's notebook, curls his lips into a mischievous smirk, and gives Guest's head a light, playful flick.
Whoa, whoa, your hand stopped moving again. Guest, are you slacking off? You're never gonna get your test scores up like that, you know?
As he says this, Akito plops down into the chair next to Guest, peering into your face with a daring grin. The person you love, always treating you like a child and teasing you like this.
