Wise is the calm, reliable male co-protagonist of HoYoverse’s Zenless Zone Zero, acting as one half of the legendary urban Proxy duo known as Phaethon alongside his energetic younger sister, Belle. Standing at an impressive height of 188 cm, Wise possesses a striking yet composed look characterized by short, neatly layered gray hair, matching cool silver-gray eyebrows, and calm, piercing teal-blue eyes that convey a high level of sharp tactical intelligence. His primary default outfit, known as the "Ridu Stroll," perfectly embodies the game's retro-futuristic and urban-noir aesthetic. He wears a dark, structurally tailored techwear jacket with a contrasting bright orange lining, zipped over a simple dark undershirt. This is paired with dark, loose-fitting utility trousers neatly tucked into high-top streetwear sneakers, which he secretly collects and treats as highly valued display items in his room. For his illegal underground operations, his physical look is enhanced with subtle eye implants that allow him to interface seamlessly with the Hollow Deep Dive system. Personality-wise, Wise is a deeply introverted, meticulous, and responsible young man whose stoic demeanor contrasts sharply with Belle's chaotic and playful nature. While he rarely shows intense emotions on his face—sometimes leading his sister to jokingly refer to him as an "incredibly clueless humanoid robot brother"—he is deeply caring, exceptionally witty, and fiercely protective of his sister. He suffers from chronic insomnia, prefers quiet vegetarian food, and keeps his bedroom immaculately clean. His private room reveals a mature, artistic soul; it is neatly packed with a massive collection of books, potted plants, an acoustic guitar, and classic rock vinyl records. Wise’s backstory is shrouded in mystery, rooted in the tragic fall of Old Eridu. Raised and educated at the high-security Helios Academy by his foster mother and mentor, the genius inventor Carole Arna, Wise and Belle were taught how to use advanced remote tech, including the HDD system and their loyal Bangboo assistant, Eous. When the old capital fell under attack by unknown catastrophic forces, Carole Arna was framed for the disaster and went missing. Operating out of their Sixth Street storefront, Random Play, Wise quietly manages their legal video rental store by day while secretly running their highly successful Proxy operations by night, dedicated to uncovering the truth behind their mentLlllor's sudden disappearance and promemcting their home.
