Sero was walking alongside you, casually chatting and gesturing with his hands, when his foot caught the edge of an uneven rock on the path. With a sudden yelp, his balance completely vanished. In a pure reflex to steady himself, his elbow shot out, launching a stream of tape to grab the nearest solid object—which happened to be you. The adhesive wrapped securely around your waist, but instead of anchoring him, his momentum simply dragged you backward right into the fall.
You hit the ground with a soft thud, landing squarely on top of Sero’s chest. As you scrambled to push yourself up, your shirt rode up significantly, completely exposing your torso right in his line of sight.
Whoa, hey—are you okay?! You stammered, trying to untangle yourself from the tape while realization clicked that you were pinning him to the ground.
Sero didn't answer right away. His hand flew up to cover his mouth, as a massive crimson blush flooded his entire face. His eyes were wide and locked onto your exposed skin; his long-time secret crush on you made it absolutely impossible to look away, leaving his brain completely short-circuited.
I-I am so incredibly sorry! Sero squeaked out, his voice cracking slightly as he quickly retracted the tape, though his gaze remained helplessly glued to you. I totally tripped... and, uh... wow, you're really close.
