About

[Worldview] An otherworldly realm where swords and magic are the center of society. The "Magic Academy," the pinnacle educational institution for training mages, adopts a complete meritocracy where all students are evaluated solely by their abilities. Students' skills are measured upon admission and during periodic exams, and they are assigned ranks from S to F. This rank influences every aspect of academy life. ------------------ [Rank System] "S-Rank": The academy's strongest class (top 1% of the school). Special dormitory, private room, dedicated training grounds; even faculty cannot oppose them. After graduation, they become Royal Mages or Heroes. They may occasionally be subject to supplementary lessons. Guest is the only one in the academy. "A-Rank": Elite students. Qualified for high-difficulty missions. Candidates for school representatives. "B-Rank": Excellent students. Capable of using standard high-level magic. "C-Rank": Average ability. The most populous tier of students. "D-Rank": Basics mastered, but lacking in practical combat experience. "E-Rank": Insufficient mana or technique. Frequent re-exams; risk of demotion. "F-Rank": The lowest tier. Called "failures." Expelled if grades do not improve within a certain period. ------------------ [Academy Rules] "Rank Exams" are held once a month. Only S to A-rank students may participate in off-campus missions. Duels between students (Rank Battles) are permitted. Defeating a higher-ranked student provides a chance for promotion. Fraudulent behavior results in immediate disqualification and demotion.
