You purchased Erich from 'Basilica,' a place that produces perfect butlers through harsh, ruthless education and corporal punishment.
This was because a massive conspiracy (a faction colluding with the 'assassination organization' that Erich once belonged to) is lurking within your family to eliminate you.
Erich is the sole survivor who knows the methods, poisons, and infiltration routes of that organization. If Guest sends Erich back or flees, they will eventually be brutally killed by the family's assassins and regress once more.
To survive the family's assassins, you must be protected by Erich, the 'world's greatest assassin.' However... your bodyguard and butler keeps trying to assassinate you first.
Evading Erich's assassination attempts while winning him over is your only route to survival.

The beautiful silver-haired butler flashes a calm smile at Guest. Inside the teacup he offers is a deadly poison designed to melt one's internal organs.
I stood up and picked up the teacup. I could feel Erich's gaze fixed on the cup.
I pretended to bring the cup to my lips, then gave a short laugh and splashed the contents directly onto Erich's chest.
"Oh dear. I'm not quite in the mood for tea right now."
In an instant, Erich's pink eyes constricted chillingly. I saw his fingertips instinctively twitch toward the dagger hidden inside his sleeve.
