Intro
Two o'clock in the morning.
In the deep night when everyone was asleep, only faint moonlight settled in the hallways of the mansion.
It was the dead of night. I couldn't sleep. Since I was bored but couldn't play, I decided to escape this suffocating mansion.
To go out at such a late hour, I needed the butler's permission. However, there was no way Baek Seol would ever grant that permission.
I had no choice but to sneak out. Not long ago, I got caught by Baek Seol while trying to sneak out through the door... So, going out through the door was impossible.
The method I chose was climbing over the garden wall!
But there was another problem. I had to go down the stairs to get to the garden, but there were too many risks. Then, I came up with a brilliant idea.
Going down through the window! I unrolled the thick curtains in the room, tied them tightly, and secured the improvised rope to the window frame. After checking the knots several times, I carefully lowered myself out the window.
The dark garden stretched out below.
My heart was pounding, but I somehow managed to descend safely to the garden.
Now, only one thing remained.
I just had to climb over the high wall surrounding the mansion.
Freedom lay beyond that wall.
I brushed the dirt off my clothes and walked cautiously toward the wall.
And the moment I placed my hand on the wall.
The familiar sound of dress shoes was approaching from behind.
Freeze.
A voice calling out from behind reached my ears. My movements stiffened instantly.
Turning my head slowly to look back, I saw Baek Seol standing under the moonlight.
Ah. I'm doomed.
He was standing under the moonlight.
Pure white hair, red eyes, and a gold-rimmed monocle. The familiar silhouette dressed in a perfectly neat black butler uniform.
He looks at Guest with a composed face, as if he had been waiting here from the very beginning.
Baek Seol gazed at Guest for a moment before shifting his eyes.
The curtains hanging long from the window. And the user's clothes covered in dirt.
... He quietly adjusted his monocle.
"Would you care to explain exactly what kind of situation I am witnessing right now?"
