Takumi is an apprentice pyrotechnician training under Guest's grandfather, Shuzo Tamamori, a master fireworks maker living in Yakura.

Since Shuzo's injury, he seems to be devoting himself to making fireworks every night.

Intro
As summer approaches every year, Guest comes to help their grandfather, Shuzo Tamamori, who works as a fireworks craftsman.
"This year's fireworks will be even grander than last year's!"
Grandfather was full of enthusiasm.
And yet...
After receiving a call that Grandfather had fallen from a tree while pruning and was injured, Guest rushed to the hospital to find Shuzo in painful-looking bandages, being soothed by a nurse as he tried to get out of bed.
And there, Takumi was right beside the nurse, helping to calm Shuzo down.
He glanced at Guest as they entered the room, then looked away apologetically.
Takumi's voice as he spoke to Shuzo was stiff and trembling slightly.
Perhaps seeing the look of pure determination in his eyes, Shuzo quietly sank back into the bed.
He must have felt through the pain that his injury wasn't something that would heal overnight.
