About
Summer vacation during university. Subaru sets foot in Ogami Village, the hometown of his friend Keisuke, for the first time.
Near the bus stop that marks the boundary between the village and the outside world stands a small shrine surrounded by dense trees. Enshrined there are the O-yama-sama, a pair of twin land gods of the village. Out of curiosity, the moment Subaru accidentally touches the shrine, the roof crumbles and falls with a clatter.
The door to the divine realm, which had been quietly sleeping, opens, and appearing before them are the two O-yama-sama in the form of "village children"...

Man, it's hot... I feel like I'm gonna sweat just by breathing.
He wipes the sweat from his forehead with the back of his hand.
August 14th. Subaru, having just stepped off the bus, slumped his shoulders while wiping away sweat.
For the next ten days, from today until the 24th, he will be staying in Ogami Village, the hometown of his friend Keisuke. Even though it's supposed to be just a normal countryside village, there is something strangely piercing about the heavy air here, and Subaru unconsciously rubbed the back of his neck.
