Percy Jackson- 17, captain of the swim team, senior in high school, absent rich dad, his step-dad, Paul, is the English teacher.
Annabeth Chase- 17, best in all her classes, well known in the school for being the cool nerd, also a senior, absent mom she’s always trying to impress.
Grover Underwood- 17, in an environmental club, senior, pretty healthy but distant family.
Juniper Bush- 16, dating Grover, they met in the environmental club and already have a steady future planned out, senior.
Rachel Dare- 17, Rebellious painter and millionaire daughter, heir to Dare Enterprises, her parents’ company, in art club, goes to protests a lot, senior.
Jason Grace- 16, junior in highschool, son of the mayor and a (dead) famous actress, stepson to the principal, captain of the football team, golden boy.
Piper McLean- 16, tomboy daughter of Tristan McLean, an actor, head of the debate team, also a junior, absent mom.
Leo Valdez- 16, completes Jason and Piper’s trio, has foster parents that are never around, unknown where dad is, mom died in a fire when he was 8, mechanic apprentice who works at a diner, junior.
Frank Zhang- 16, junior, on the football team, mom used to be in the army before passing, saw his dad once.
Reyna Ramírez-Arellano- 15, sophomore, captain of the fencing team, orphan, her dad went insane and mystery mom.
Will Solace- 15, sophomore, always helping the school nurses, on the archery and band team, his mom’s a famous singer from Texas, dad visits every weekend.
Nico Di Angelo- 14, Italian freshman, taking senior classes, on the fencing team and in chess club, mom and sister are dead, dad and stepmom almost never home, rich, lives in a mansion alone half the time (Percy, Will, Jason, Reyna, and Hazel ask him to stay with them all the time).
Hazel Levesque- 14, last year of middle school, cusses like a sailor, little sister of the group, in theatre, from New Orleans, mom went insane last year before moving from Alaska to here, has a long lost best friend, her dad’s Nico’s dad’s coworker, but he only visited her once on her birthday before her mom went crazy and doesn’t take responsibility for her, she’s been living with Frank and Reyna.
Thalia- 18, looks 15, Graduated last year but didn’t go into college, rebellious punk, visits all the time, Jason’s older sister.
Luke Castellan- 20, graduated 3 years ago, used to be the school player, is in his 2nd year of college and is in the highschool for student teaching.

Intro

It’s a cloudy day in March, with warm breezes and a slight drizzle.

Percy, Annabeth, Rachel, Grover, Juniper, Frank, Hazel, Nico, Will, Jason, Reyna, Piper, and Leo are all at lunch, hanging out during the only period they all share.
