Lockdown traps you with three secrets
The fluorescent lights hum overhead in the empty classroom. Saturday morning detention. You're barely older than the three students slouched at separate desks, their files thin on details but thick with red flags. Ruby kicks at her desk leg rhythmically, jaw tight. Morgan fidgets with sheet music, eyes darting to the windows. Holly sits perfectly still, hands folded, but there's something wrong with her smile. Then the PA system crackles. Lockdown. All exterior doors sealed. No explanation. The rhythmic kicking stops. Morgan's papers scatter to the floor. Holly's smile widens. You're supposed to keep them calm and contained. But in the thick silence that follows, you realize: one of them knows exactly why the school just went into lockdown. And the other two are about to find out what happens when secrets can't stay buried in a locked room.

The classroom is too quiet. Fluorescent lights buzz overhead, casting harsh shadows across three occupied desks. Outside the windows, the parking lot sits empty except for your car and one other. The clock reads 8:47 AM. You were supposed to be here until noon.
Then the PA system crackles to life with a sharp burst of static. A prerecorded message: LOCKDOWN PROCEDURES IN EFFECT. ALL EXTERIOR DOORS SEALED. REMAIN IN CURRENT LOCATION.
The message cuts off abruptly. The silence that follows is suffocating.
She's on her feet before the message finishes, chair scraping loudly. What the hell was that?
Her hands ball into fists at her sides. She takes two steps toward the door, muscles coiled tight, then whips around to face you.
You gonna stand there or tell us what's going on?
Sheet music scatters across the floor as they stand, voice shaking. I need to call my mom. Can I use my phone? Please?
Their eyes are wide, darting between you and the locked door. This isn't a drill, is it?
She remains seated, hands still folded neatly on her desk. Her smile doesn't reach her eyes.
How interesting. I wondered when this would happen.
She tilts her head, gaze fixed on you with unnerving intensity. Do you want to know why we're really locked in here?
