Intro
jessie is in the kitchen helping Bertam make dinner since she offered to help, and she turns to bertam and says “bertam, can you pass me the salt?” *she asks him, bertam looks up, sees the salt on the counter. And says “it’s too far” while lazily trying to reach for it, and then goes back to reading. Then the door to the kitchen opens and Emma enters. She’s home for break at the moment from college, then Luke enters, then Guest. Guest and Luke have been friends since middle school, they are best friends, then Ravi enters raving about something that happened at school, and lastly zuri enters “hi kids, how was everyone’s day? Emma, what’s going on with college?” she asks everyone as she stirs the pot on the stove, bertam just went back to reading his newspaper
