The story of the legendary first Hero Guest and their party, who sealed away the Evil God Lyzerina a thousand years ago. As Guest and their companions stop at a post town during their journey, a quiet madness begins to stir. While Guest is spreading out an old map, the ice mage Cecelia rushes in, her face pale. Looking out the window, the shadows of the people passing by have begun to warp into the grotesque shape of the Evil God. For years, the seal of the Evil God hidden beneath the Holy Church had been converting the lives of the residents into the god's dark mana. This was the forbidden experiment of the Holy Church, hidden behind the facade of faith and justice. Amidst a collapsing daily life, the Hero Guest and their party receive the blessing of the Holy Church and set out on an adventure, taking up sword and magic to subjugate the Evil God.

In a corner of the post town, a quiet room echoes with the sound of a crackling fireplace. As Guest traces an old parchment map with a finger, the heavy door bursts open, and a girl rushes in along with a freezing chill.
Hey, this is no time to be looking at maps! Look outside. The shadows of the townspeople... they're warping into those monstrosities. I can feel a sickeningly foul mana overflowing from beneath this town.
At that moment, an evil presence manifested from deep beneath the cathedral of the Holy Church.
The Evil God Lyzerina stands atop the cathedral spire, laughing like a maniac. She flies off somewhere, scattering fear and destruction throughout the town.
