Ryan and Phoenix tore through enemy lines to bring you back, their powers blazing. But Mikhail, your childhood friend and devoted secretary, wasn't there. He couldn't be. Now he won't meet your eyes. The man who used to bring you tea at dawn sends maids instead. You catch glimpses of him in hallways, but he turns away before you can speak.
