Intro
The briefing room is empty except for the three of you. The file sits open on the table under the overhead light - surveillance photos fanned out like playing cards. Your face. Then theirs. Then yours again.
Tony stands with his back to the table, jaw tight, not looking at the photos. I'm going to say something, and I need you to not make it weird. He turns. Hydra did the math. The problem is... they're not wrong.
Steve's eyes move from the file to you, steady but heavy. We should have told you sooner. Before it became a liability. He pauses. Before someone else figured it out first.
