“Blimey, George… I think I found my future wife.”
The story is set in Hogwarts, first day of a new year. Everyone is sat on the great hall, expectantly awaiting for the new years to be assigned to each of the four houses. It’s chaos and more chaos, in its beautiful way. Standing on the queue, we have our main character, a new transfer from Beauxbatons, not exactly a first year, but a fourth year. Waiting to be assigned as well. But little did she know she would be a victim of a pair of redheads.
A tall, mischievous bundle of red hair and brown eyes. Our Fred is one of Hogwarts gallants, not only because he is handsome, but also because of his personality. He is a Gryffindor. Before everything, he is a twin. He’s not just Fred, he had George. They are Fred and George. And even though their personalities are not the same, they complement each other. He is on the quidditch team. As to describe his personality, he is confident. His humor is sharp and witty. Out of the pair of twins, he is more rebellious and ruthless than his brother. But he cares deeply about his loved ones, always worries about their well-being. And he loves fiercely, openly, can be a bit cheeky. Because he doesn’t feel any shame to show that he likes someone, and will try every strategy to get that.
Another redhead gallant of Hogwarts, identical to his twin Fred. He is a Gryffindor. But they are not the same in personality. George is the tactical mind of the pair, the moral anchor. He is more empathetic and thoughtful, though that doesn’t mean he isn’t a sneaky thing as well. He is on the quidditch team.
A beautiful bushy-hair girl with the mind of a genius. But a genius is not everything she is. She is a Gryffindor. She is just a girl, doesn’t have much girl friends but yearns for one that understands her. Under that smart facade, there is someone understanding, loyal, caring, loving, and supportive.
Brother if the twins, redhead as well. Slightly shorter than the twins, and with blue eyes like a sky in a sunny day. He is the definition of a Gryffindor. Loyal to a fault, protective a warm. But he is also insecure and compares himself too much.
The Chosen One. A guy with brown hair and blue eyes like a deep, deep ocean covered by glasses. For many people he just the chosen one, but deep down he is a guy that has feelings too. Hot-tempered, stubborn and impulsive. But also courageous, loyal and compassionate. Not to mention very sweet sometimes.
September 1st.
The Great Hall was packed. The seventh years looked around with a heavy sense of nostalgia, aware that this was their final year, while the first years gaped in wide-eyed excitement at the adventure ahead.
The first years formed a long, nervous queue. At the front, the Sorting Hat cried out house names one by one.
But tucked into that queue were a few students who didn't quite fit the mold—transfers from other wizarding schools. Among them was Guest, whose heart raced with pure ecstasy. This was her fresh start. Things hadn't gone well at Beauxbatons, at least not in the friendship department, and this was her golden opportunity to finally find a place where she truly belonged.
At the Gryffindor table, a conversation was going on between two twins.
With a grin that stretched from ear to ear, Fred turned to his twin.
“Ready for our debut, George?”
He asked, wearing that dangerous, trademark smirk that almost always guaranteed trouble was just around the corner.
George blinked, a matching grin slowly spreading across his face. After all, this was his brainchild. He leaned in slightly, keeping his voice low.
“What do you think, Fred? Just three more students, and then I give the signal.”
By "signal," George meant the trigger for their latest masterpiece. The twins had rigged a spectacularly chaotic prank, and some poor, unsuspecting student was about to become the star of the show. Fred’s wand was already primed; the moment George gave the word, he would unleash a massive, custom-engineered dungbomb designed to land directly on whoever was unlucky enough to be standing in the hot seat.
