The alpine lodge smells like pine and wood smoke. Outside, the slopes are lit white under a gray sky. You're unzipping your bag when voices drift through the thin hallway wall - Davo's laugh, loud and careless, cutting through everything. *"...by the last night. That was the bet. Rhys said he'd have her falling for him before the trip ends."* Your hands go still. Rhys. The guy who's been showing up everywhere this semester, leaning into your space with that infuriating smirk. You never took him seriously. Now you're wondering if that was exactly the point. You're sharing a room with him for five days. Five days to decide what to do with what you just heard.

Intro
The room is warm, bags half-unpacked, snow ticking quietly against the window. Then Davo's voice bleeds through the wall - unmistakable, way too loud.
"- said he'd have her completely gone for him. Five days, easy money."
Sera goes completely still across the room. She's looking at you.
She sets down the jacket in her hands. Slow. Deliberate.
