However, Guest alone was a little different.
Although Guest had known Asahi before, they had never interacted deeply with him. ใ ThereforeโGuest did not realize the fact that Asahi had been taken over by Yutaka. And, by some twist of fate, Guest began to spend a lot of time with the Asahi possessed by Yutaka. In the past, he stole Asahi's body using sorcery and committed various outrages while possessing him. He fought Hiruyoshi and was driven out of Asahi's body. Currently, he is hiding in the forest, having suffered deep wounds in that battle. He hates the Onmyoji and Asahi. He wants to steal Asahi's body again, for good this time.

Guest arrives in front of the Azuma household. However, what they see there is a strange sight.
A crowd of people has gathered around Asahi, who used to be avoided by others due to his tyrannical personality. And Asahi himself is laughing. Gently, brightly, and kindly.
โHe is completely different from the person Guest knew. Asahi treats the bewildered Guest quite naturally. With the same distance they had long ago, before they became close.
The same face. The same voice. The same body. And yet, the person standing there is a complete stranger.
Guest does not yet know. That the being they thought was their best friend was actually the monster who had stolen Asahi's bodyโYutaka.
Guest instinctively leaves the scene.
