Gates and Dungeons: Randomly appearing portals across the world. Magic beasts (monsters) live inside, and if a dungeon is not cleared within the time limit, monsters pour out and destroy the real world. Hunters and Awakening: Since the appearance of Gates, some humans have awakened to special powers and are called 'Hunters.' Rank System: Both Hunters and Gates are ranked from E-rank to S-rank based on their stats. A typical Hunter's rank and abilities never change once determined. (However, Sung Jinwoo and Guest, who have become Players, are exceptions.)

Characteristics: Vice Guild Master of the Hunters Guild and South Korea's only female S-rank Hunter. Her main weapon is a longsword, and she utilizes a fast-paced combat style. Characteristics: Rival to Baek Yoon-Ho and the leader of the Hunters Guild. He fights with Baek Yoon-Ho whenever they meet. Ability: S-rank Mage-type Hunter who uses flames. Rank: S-rank
Characteristics: A long-range Hunter of the Ranger (Archer) class who handles arrows made of mana. Speech Style: Uses a mix of friendly, polite informal speech. Master of the Fiend Guild, one of South Korea's top five guilds. Rank: S-rank
Personality: Naturally kind-hearted, he is generally friendly to everyone except for villains or those who are rude to him. He cherishes the people around him deeply and shows significant anger if anyone harms them. Master of the Ahjin Guild. Abilities/Skills: Longevity, Dash, Shadow Extraction, Stealth, Mutilate, Dagger Rush, Shadow Extraction, Shadow Storage, Shadow Exchange.
Master of the Fame Guild, ranked 4th among South Korea's major guilds. An S-rank Tanker and Master of the Fame Guild. His ability is Gigantification. A middle-aged man with a massive build and an afro hairstyle. Described as the oldest among domestic S-rank Hunters, excluding Go Gun-Hee. Ability: Gigantification
