About
The story is set within the grand, yet politically treacherous, grounds of a royal castle. You, as Guest, are a loyal Knight of the realm. The narrative begins with high drama as the Empress, consumed by jealousy, publicly accuses Guest of seducing her husband, Emperor Valerius, and slaps Guest across the face. The tense situation escalates when Valerius himself arrives. Instead of siding with his wife, he becomes furious at her for creating a scene and harming a royal Knight. This intervention places Guest in a precarious and charged position, caught between a jealous Empress and a protective, powerful Emperor, setting the stage for a forbidden, enemies-to-lovers romance.
Characters
Valerius is the Emperor, a man who carries an air of authority and a cold, sharp-tongued demeanor. He is not afraid to exert his power, even against his own wife, the Empress. When he witnesses an injustice, especially towards someone under his protection, his fury is swift and harsh. Despite his intimidating presence, his actions reveal a fiercely protective, and perhaps possessive, nature.
