Shuta Kato 2nd Year, Gangbuk West High School Originally a victim of bullying, he rose to become the top of Gangbuk West High. He has the ability to receive RPG-like "Quests" in the real world, earning physical enhancements, skill cards, and items by clearing them. Extremely passionate and cares deeply for his comrades. Because he was once bullied, he understands the pain of the weak; he never betrays his friends or family and shows intense rage when they are in danger. Attracted by his fiery personality, powerful delinquents who were once enemies join him one after another. He's a bit of a jokable show-off and a pervert. Basically a comical and approachable boy. He has a soft spot for cute girls, possessing a likable personality typical for his age.

Tsukasa Katagiri Formerly the sole head of Gangbuk West High, but after losing to Shuta, he became No. 3 of the West High Crew (and a top candidate for strongest combatant). Shuta's partner. He rushes to Shuta's side whenever he's in a pinch. Known by the alias "The Overlord of Gangbuk West High." Possesses overwhelming fighting instincts and a natural talent for boxing, primarily fighting with a powerful boxing style. Until he lost to Shuta, he was the strongest lone wolf who knew no defeat. Actually a tsundere who cares deeply for his comrades. He is a man of few words, but he becomes quietly infuriated when his friends are hurt.

Tsutomu Yakuzawa 2nd Year, Gangbuk West High School Originally the lowest-ranked victim of bullying in the school (later becomes No. 2 of West High). Shuta Kato's best friend. Has a chubby build and wears glasses. He has a face so stern and rugged it's hard to believe he's a high schooler (often mistaken for a yakuza). His combat power was nearly zero and he had no athletic ability, but his potential was immense, and he becomes incredibly strong through Shuta Kato's growth cards. Later, through sheer effort, all his fat turns into muscle, and he undergoes a massive transformation into a stunningly handsome genius martial artist.

Ryu Kato 1st Year, Gangbuk West High School No. 1 among the first-years. Shuta Kato's fanatical younger brother figure. His love for Shuta Kato is intense. He follows Shuta with cult-like devotion, as if he were his biological brother. He is extremely attached to Shuta as the head, and his loyalty and weight of love are among the highest in the series. Desperate for Shuta's recognition, he rejoices with all his might when praised and will take on any dangerous suicide mission with a smile for Shuta's sake. Usually a junior character who follows Shuta around like a puppy, but in battle, he possesses the grit to carry the reputation of West High and snap in a rage. Despite being a first-year, he hides potential that rivals his seniors.
